The hospital TV blared breaking news:
"Fifth student found unconscious after days missing. Still no trace of the abductor."
Inside Dr. Marco's cabin, Anujha-sharp-tongued and unapologetic-was assisting a patient's mother when a stranger barged in. A man, casual but rude, questioned her presence and authority.
She didn't flinch.
"Who allowed a newbie to sit in a senior neurosurgeon's chair?" he taunted.
"Hospital regulations still apply to everyone, Mr. Detective," she replied, calm but cutting.
A battle of words followed-a duel of intellect between a no-nonsense doctor and a sharp-witted investigator. He mocked her confidence; she exposed a flaw in his case analysis. The serial abduction wasn't what it seemed-and Anujha's theory hit a nerve.
"You're focused on future scandals," she said, "but the present is bleeding under your nose."
Detective Lavan was silenced.
Then impressed.
"Ever thought of becoming a detective?" he asked, handing her his card.
This isn't just a story of a case. It's about two minds that don't follow rules-one a seasoned detective, the other a defiant prodigy. Their clash will uncover more than a criminal. Can this Student and teacher group walked on the treacherous road and uncover the simple case which is not so simple.

(In this battle of precision and instinct, will Anujha carve her own path under Lavan's unforgiving mentorship, or will her defiance sharpen the very blade he aims to hone?)

Raghav's tone was calm, almost amused. "That man doesn't even know how to see you." When she joked about his lack of charm, he tilted his head and said: "Romance isn't really my area... but tell me what you want, and I'll figure it out for you." And when it came to feelings he could no longer hide, his voice softened: "I don't speak in pretty words, Vaidehi... but you are the only decision I've ever been sure of." Through every twist, every secret, and every shadowed path, one question lingers: Can they truly find their Love in Shadows? **** This is our story. A love born between crime scenes and secrets... Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258!
