"How dare you," I snarled, my forearm pressing against his windpipe. "How fucking dare you touch her."

Another punch, this one to his ribs, making him gasp for air. "You drugged her, you sick fuck."

"She's just another sl*t playing dress up," he wheezed, even as blood ran from his nose. "You think you're special because you haven't fucked her yet? I'll show her what a real man-"

I saw red. Completely, utterly lost control in a way I never had before. My fist connected with his face again and again, each blow punctuated by words that came from somewhere dark and primal.

"Don't you ever-" punch "--fucking talk about her--" punch "--like that again."

I grabbed his hair and slammed his head back against the wall. "You want to know why everyone chooses me over you? It's because you're pathetic. A sad little boy who can't handle being second best."

Another blow to his stomach had him doubling over, retching.

"She means everything to me," I growled, grabbing his collar and hauling him upright. "Everything. And you thought you could just take her? Hurt her? Use her to get back at me?"
