After an accident, she lands in the ER of the local hospital - and in the care of Dr. Carlisle Cullen.  Kind, calm, and attentive in a way no one else has been, he senses something isn't right and starts to uncover what others have overlooked. She has not imagined how this encounter would change her stay in the US.
