This isn't a cry for help.
It's a scream I never got to let out.

Emotional Damage - The Memoir is a brutally honest look into my mind - the toxic thoughts, the anger, the sadness, and the sarcasm I've used to cope. It's messy, unfiltered, and at times, dark. There will be use of abusive words. There will be depressing stuff. And yeah, some of it might hit harder than you expect.

I'm not writing this for sympathy.
I just want to be heard.
Not judged. Not fixed. Just understood.

And to all the brown girls out there, surviving in silence with strict parents -
some parts of this might feel a little too real.
