Somewhere beyond the smoke, machines screamed in metal voices, chewing through what was left of the world.
And I... I was still standing.
Not because I was the strongest.
But because someone had given me their life, and I refused to let it be wasted. 

They called it hyeonsa.
I called it a promise.
One that would not break - even if I did.
