"Ragen," Blaze began and looked down. "I'm dangerous. I'm a monster." I grabbed his face in my hands and looked into his mesmerizing eyes. "Then I'm willing to accept that." Woodlake was a small town that was surrounded by miles and miles of forest. Everything seemed quite normal, but for Ragen DeCarlo, nothing was normal. She's had nightmares of a white coated creature with glowing red eyes chasing her in the forest, but it always ends with the same thing-a black coated creature with icy blue eyes coming straight at her. But when Blaze Carter moves back to Woodlake after five years of being MIA, the questions arise and Ragen will do anything to find the answers to his past. That is until the strange happenings begin in town. Sheep and cattle are being attacked by something. Dogs begin to bark in the middle of the night, and howling begins to start. But the one question Ragen wants to figure out is confusing. How come Blaze's appearance and personality is so much like the creature in her dream? Especially the icy blue eyes?

There was something about him. Or maybe there was something about me. I didn't want him in my life but he ran into it; literally. He liked to hide in trees, irritate me, and read books; despite the fact that it went against his image. He was more than meets the eye. Although at first I didn't want to know more. He lured me in like an unsuspecting moth to an open flame. Knowing the dangers I went in, wanting to know more. It could hurt me but it was too irresistible and I was drawn in. This isn't how the bad boy made me bad or about how I made him good. This is about how we changed each other lives. In good and bad ways. Whatever that means. "I don't bite.... hard." He smirked at me, winking one of his bright hazel eyes at me. It only made me more frustrated. "Yeah but Hunter, if you did you'd probably give me rabies." I rolled my eyes looking back at the book in my hand.
