Her fists were lifted up ready to swing. Sweat was dripping down her face, her chest and her arms. Her eyes bore into the fierce eyes of her opponent. Lu wasn't just fighting for a name, the title of a winner. She was fighting for the truth that would set her free. Her real enemy wasn't the one standing in front of her. Her enemy was the voice in her mind throwing punches of confusion that was leaving with her the bitter taste of hate. The bell rang and the battle began. Grade eleven teenager, Lusanda Zulu and her family move to Durban to live with her grandparents. This is not necessarily due to bad circumstances but under divine instruction. It is time to face the past and make things right. While the family believes the only mending that needs to be made is between them, Lu discovers a part of her past she never knew existed which threatens her very identity.

Note: This book is undergoing heavy editing and re-writing. Thank you She was soaked in blood from head to toe. Her clothes were sticky and the air was filled with the smell of death. Her guns lay on the pillow and her head was on her grandmothers shoulder. She kept on singing a lullaby to her grandmothers lifeless body. She has failed her, she had failed the only mission her uncle gave her before he passed. "Protect ugogo." That is all the he said before he passed. She had killed every single one of them but one bullet came through the window and it was over. Tears flowed freely from her eyes. She was alone in the world now and she didn't want to go on without her Gogo.
