Seventeen-year-old Jace Rivers is starting a new game - literally and figuratively.

He's a quiet, trans boy navigating the noise of a world that often misunderstands him. Struggling with possible ADHD, identity questions, and the constant feeling of being "too much" or "not enough," Jace feels like he's stuck on the loading screen of life.

But when he starts a game design course in September, things slowly begin to shift. He meets new friends, learns to speak up in group projects, his voce - and his art - actually matter.

Between awkward cafe chats, group deadlines, a supportive younger sibling, and a maybe-more-than-friends connection with someone unexpected, Jace begins to realize he doesn't have to have it all figured out to start moving forward.

This is a story about belonging, small bravery, queer joy, and letting yourself take up space - even when you're not sure how.
