Some nights feel heavier than others. Like the darkness is seeping through the seams of the plaster, searching for cracks, trying to fill whatever space the silence left behind.
Alex Mason wasn't afraid of the dark - not exactly.
 He just didn't trust it.

Everyone likes to make excuses for the antagonist and say, 'they're just misunderstood.' or 'blame their parents and how they raised them.' but maybe that's not the case this time, right?


This is a short psychological thriller for my A Level English course. I wanted to share it on here to see what you guys think. This won't be a long, deeply-developed story but if you guys like it and want an extended version, please let me know! :)All Rights Reserved
