This is a story about the boy I fell in love with, the man I tried to keep close. A one-sided love that was at the wrong time and in the wrong place. But was it? Did we end up together? I'll get to that. Well let's start at the beginning

He took a whiff of his cigarette before pulling me close to him. My heart was thumping so hard against my chest that I was afraid he'd feel it as I was pressed so tightly against him. He lowered his lips to mine and I instinctively opened my mouth as I captured the smoke.
