The Dress is part of a collection of stories based on the universe of An Inmense Sea, the book series I'm writing and hope to publish one day. This world is plagued by characters navigating ambiguity, whose actions and motivations dictate how their destiny will be written. The lives of these characters intertwine chaotically, bringing individuals together and separating them, changing their lives and beliefs. Pirates work hand in hand with the crown, politicians weave webs in plain sight, and princesses reign over rats and crows.
This particular story tells of the turning point of Latika, a young aristocrat who must make a difficult decision that will change the course of her life.
