Blue Eyes is part of a collection of stories based on the universe of The Vast Sea, the book series I'm writing and hope to publish one day. This world is plagued by characters navigating ambiguity, whose actions and motivations dictate how their destiny will be written. The lives of these characters intertwine chaotically, bringing individuals together and separating them, changing their lives and beliefs. Pirates work hand in hand with the crown, politicians weave webs in plain sight, and princesses reign over rats and crows.
This particular story features a character who carries a great burden due to the decisions she made in the past. I'll post other stories later that will connect with this one.
