GOLEM; In Jewish folklore, a golem is an animated anthropomorphic being made of clay, brought to life through mystical means. The golem is often seen as a symbol of protection, a powerful entity created to defend against threats. The golem, while initially a force for good, often becomes uncontrollable and requires the rabbi to neutralize its power, sometimes by removing the divine name inscribed on its forehead. Shemesh is a Golem that was created over the course of five long years in a dusty attic in a haunted house on Spinner's End. She has only one purpose. Protect Severus Snape.
