Shortly after the explosion of the Eclipse Cannon, Sonic and his friends receive a strange lead about a new hedgehog.
 
After being freed from a 50-year containment, Linda struggles with the past and locks her true emotions away. 

Meanwhile, having survived the explosion, Shadow goes looking for a mysterious hedgehog from his memories, her face having once been long forgotten. 

But as the two finally reunite, a threatening arrival from G.U.N. inevitably thrusts them apart, driving Linda into a cycle of revenge.
