Setter's Love

Being the setter in volleyball is an important roll. You are the reason the spiker has a perfect spike, not because they hit it perfectly, or did the preparation perfectly, but because you set the ball up perfectly for them. One wrong move and that tethered ball comes flying down towards the ground. Your team counts on you and the crowd screams joy for your team. Volleyball is not a individual sport, it is a team sport.
As you are listening intently to your coaches pep talk you are also distracted by the cute boy that came to watch you lead your team to victory. Your in your own little world where your prepping yourself for your own game.
Suddenly your snapped back to reality by your coach.
"Cootsly! Your the starting setter and server, you got this in the bag girl. Now get out there and show them your deadly serve."
You slide your knee pads up to your knees and the ref throws you the ball. You take a deep breath and you toss the ball up in the air. You hit it with a solid smack.
