The dream came true.

Melissa was a normal girl. She had almost everything, except her dad. He wasn't really in the picture. Her mom on the other hand met someone new, Jake. He wasn't a good man. Her mom was never around to know what happened. Melissa kept her mouth shut about it, or Jake would have hurt her. One night Melissa woke up by hearing screams from her mother, Jake was hurting her. She tried to help her mom but he got to her before she could do anything, and he killed her mother. Jake tried to kill Melissa also, but the stab wasn't deep enough. A police officer saved her and since Melissa was only 16 at the time, she was forced to go into orphanage. One night out on her balcony, she made a wish to fulfill her dream ... and that's when her life took a turn for the better. She has a new family, she found love, a best friend, and overall new life.
