In the height of the 1970's European Heroin Craze, Primrose Hartell contemplates ending her life.
After realizing the havoc her addiction has wreaked not only on her life but on those of the people she loves as well, she finds herself alone and near her end.
Sitting at the brink of death, Primrose readies for the final plunge, when a large blue Police box mysteriously appears before her. A strange man wearing a pinstriped suit emerges and offers to take her across Space and Time itself to prove to her that she's far from being worthless.
