It is the year 2448, humanity has expanded beyond the Solar System. There are now hundreds of planets we call "home." Weaponry has became more advanced than you can imagine. The United Nations Space Command struggles to keep such vast empire under control. Strange virus life from another galaxy, called The Flood, invades our galaxy. Heroes with the greatest weapons, called Guardians, are humanity's final hope. Five Guardians that died during the war are resurrected by an unknown source, and it's up to them to bring the Universe back to normal. It's their Destiny.

Destiny: War Of Sol - Book Ten
This story is the last in a ten-book series based on the video game franchise, "Destiny," developed by Bungie. The universe of Destiny is a science-fictional setting taking place in the future, where Humanity has been reduced to a singular city on Earth, and must rely on the Guardians, Humans who wield a power known as the Light, to defend them from various alien threats within the Sol system. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The primary purpose of this fanfiction is to re-tell the story that takes place in Destiny and its sequel, Destiny 2, but with a twist. The twist being that the playable "Guardian" character, who is known to be a blank-slate one-man-army amongst a roster of developed characters, is instead a team of multiple Guardians who all have their own backstories and personalities. The plot of this saga will follow the plot of the game its based on closely, but not exactly. There are a number of twists such as the main cast, as well as several other plot points, for the sake of originality, as well as to serve as an interesting narrative for those who are aware of Destiny's plot. Primarily, this story will follow the perspective of a Titan-class Guardian named Chrytor-6, but is told from the third-person, allowing for perspectives to change whether it be scene to scene or book to book, as our main character, Chrytor-6, will not always be the focus.

The Golden Age- When the Traveler arrived, a time of peace, prosperity, and infinite possibility sprouted from Earth. Mankind had launched hundreds- if not, thousands- of journeys across the system, connecting Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, even Mercury into an increasingly large web of life and technology. Fast forward to the end of the Golden Age- The Collapse and the Dark Age- alien races surge forth from outside the system- the Eliksni, the Hive, The Cabal, The Vex- all coming for the Traveler. He fought them all, sending his Light, his Power out, crushing the opposition. Then, He was crippled, retreating to a small town. Fast forward to the beginning of our age- The City Age- With His dying breath, The Traveler created the Ghost- small machines that can revive those capable of wielding the Light- His Power- and fight the Darkness. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows. Honor-driven. Leaders. Warriors. The Protectors of Humanity. Deeply intertwined in the history of the Last City.
