This fanfiction dives into the less pretty parts of the Steven Universe show. This is a close up of what life was like under Diamond rule before Pink became Rose Quartz, before the war that separated earth from gem control. This is the story of four gems whose history was buried and tarnished by the people they knew and trusted. The Obsidians. Once powerful leaders of homeworld, now left with nothing but the trauma of war, lies, deceit, and public mistrust.
This story has heavy themes in it, viewer discretion is advised. There will still be all of the original characters, but there will also be new characters and the canon storylines will be twisted to fit my OC's stories. The Diamonds are cruel and I will not diminish their brutality just because this is a "kid's show." So bear that in mind when reading.

The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. Friction began to develop between Pink Diamond and her peers. Yellow and Blue had tried their best to satisfy her tyrannical orders, but it was no use. She wanted more. She wanted a colony. And so, both Diamonds brought upon her something that was nearly close to what she wanted. A gem that could create life, just as powerful as the life creating goddess Pink was. Meanwhile, a thousand years had soon passed after "the incident" had occured. A trusty and loyal servant of the White Diamond court, breaks free from the clutches of her owner. Pearl, having nowhere to ask help from, finds herself in Homeworld's intricate society as a renegade. With the help of her rebellion group, Tourmaline, Howlite and Zircon, they will find out who was behind "the incident" and stop an uprising threat that would soon destroy all life on Homeworld itself. Will they conduce succession? This Story follows the tragedy of Earth, the Crystal Gems, and a Metal Man, all affected by the Selfishness of a single Pink Woman.
Consequences
Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! AU, takes place right after 'That Will Be All'. I DO NOT OWN STEVEN UNIVERSE! REBECCA SUGAR DOES! ONLY CHARACTERS NOT MENTIONED IN THE SHOW BUT ARE IN THIS FANFICTION BELONG TO ME! What if this was Pink Pearl, a very important part of the Rebellion. And Pink Diamond's very own Pearl. The very same Pearl who fell in love with an artist named Nick Nightwood about 5,300 years after the war. This is the story of her daughter. This is the story, of Stella. You had spent a eternity serving Yellow Diamond as a entertainer. Despite not understanding emotions, you loved her. Even though it had hurt you that she abandoned you, you had still thought things would be fine.. Until one day, people realized you were broken. They found out that you didn't understand fusing or emotions and said "well, as a entertainer you need to understand the acts you're performing! And a entertainer should be happy! It's part of their job! It's all a Tanzanite is!" And were going to shatter you.. Or so they thought.
