All the way from Sri Lanka, 21 year old Tafyan comes to America to finally join her distant nuclear family who have been there for a few years.
Upon arrival both her parents and her young and only sister take her to a local carnival, where she becomes intrigued by the circus acrobats during their performance.
She secretly decides to join them, not waiting to consider that the circus life isn't all it's cracked up to be while keeping her true life a secret from her family members.
