Once Percy Jackson brings 12 year old Nico di Angelo back to Camp Half-Blood, he meets 12 year old Rosalie Chase.
Rosalie is Annabeth's younger sister. Always following in her footsteps, trying to meet expectations as a child of Athena. Always. Quickly the two 12 year olds bonded, but Nico always felt a flutter in his chest when Rosie smiled, laughed, or even said his name sweetly.
Rosalie Emmeline Chase, Nico di Angelo's first crush. He had always knew, of course. Since he saw her blonde hair and her grey eyes. Of course Nico was only a kid.
Later on in this fanfiction some heartbreaking moments, some surprising scenes, and some... 18+ scenes. Read if you will, but don't get me wrong. Things could *fall* out of hand.

Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react.
