Tim Bradford isn't your stereotypical cop. He's rude, snappy, grumpy etc, but more goes on under the surface. People judge him, call him weird, bully him for having ASD & OCD, but, a girl see's something in him. 

Lucy Chen is your sunshine type girl, loved by everyone, kind, sympathetic, everything people love. But it isn't all fun and games, all of her ex boyfriend just used her, giving her trust issues, but after years of searching, she might find the right guy.

People only see Tim as the weird guy with a mental diagnosis, he wants people to realise he has kindness in him. People only see Lucy as a too-soft-for-a-cop girl, she just wants to be taken seriously. And then they meet each other.
