This is a work of fanfiction set in the world of Criminal Minds, following the Behavioral Analysis Unit as they hunt those who prey on the most vulnerable. At the heart of the story is Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss - sharp-witted, fiercely intelligent, and unflinching in the face of danger. She's known for her dry humor, her ability to read between the lines, and her willingness to put herself on the line for strangers and teammates alike.
The BAU's cases in these pages take them from stages lit by a killer's spotlight to quiet hospital rooms where trauma speaks louder than words.
