Dahlia has a rare and painful ability she dreams of death before it happens, and sometimes even physically feels the way people die. Her father, knowing this "gift" runs in the family, sends her to a special school called Nevermore when her powers begin to surface. There, she grows up ahead of others her age, becoming familiar with the school before her peers arrive, including someone she used to bicker with as a child. When Dahlia senses a powerful and ominous death approaching, she starts to question her past choices. She must decide whether to finally let others in or keep pushing them away.
