One day, Keith goes under the radar and the 'siblings' have been concerned about his whereabouts. One morning, an unexpected visitor finds them at Tidmouth Sheds and says that they've been sent to help them, by Mr Hartley. Wendy was grateful for the help, but her and Wenda don't realise that there was another side of this visitor.

Sodor's Chemical Leak
A New Power station is Built on the little western between Arlesburgh and Norramby to generate more power for the Island but some strange chemicals are being used for it. But one day the power station suffered a system failure and it caused the chemicals to leak out of the power station and spread all over Sodor infecting engines and people. Will the engines be able to survive and escape or will they become infected creatures, find out in this adventure we go on into the year 1988.Complete

Charlie Sand a Driver and Sidney Heaver, a fireman who works on Sodor, write about the events going on recently. Sir Topham Hatt has recently signed a contract for a new nuclear power plant the government is building on the Brendam Branch. Heaver shares his opinions about the matter before mentioning that, besides that, nothing has changed. Heaver mentions how his engine, Edward, has the same opinions about the power plant, though the latter does like the idea of doing more work. He then signs off the entry with the note that he will keep the journal in case something else happens. The main plot of the series is that the Island of Sodor has been greatly affected by an explosion at a nuclear power plant, that The Fat Controller invested in. The rest of the series follows the events and horrors seen and witnessed during the traumatic time.Complete
