Halfway across the country, he meets a homeless man that tells him, "Your life is based off of what you want it to be."
Embarking on his quest back home, he meets a girl that follows him on his way.
Even though she annoys him most of the time. He falls for her. A fallen Angel from heaven.
So, the question is...can angels fall out of heaven?
