On September 1st, 1971, Walburga Black was given horrendous news. Her son, Sirius Black, was sorted into Gryffindor. Her daughter, Atlas Black, was sorted into Gryffindor as well. She was disgusted, ashamed, and mortified; overall, she was pissed. But Sirius and Atlas couldn't care less.

Atlas Black knew she would be disowned, as did her brother, Sirius. Their family was Purebloods and a part of the pureblood supremacy. Atlas and her brother should have been sorted into Slytherin, but the hat thought otherwise, much to their pleasure. James Potter and Remus Lupin came along soon after their sorting, and the four were as thick as thieves. Their journeys were thrilling, but Atlas kept thinking back to one person. Remus Lupin.
