Nancy Griffiths, a young & beautiful woman with musical talents, came from a poor working class family from Bloomsbury. Together with her mother, Nancy worked as a maid at the Danbury household while her father was a simple clerk.
Following the passing of both her parents, Lady Danbury took it upon her to raise young Nancy and mentor her to become a fine young lady.
Years pass and now a world class pianist and composer in a world dominated by men, Nancy returns to London from performing in the Americas and faces the high society she is now recognized to be a part of where she will face many challenges, including being forced to find herself a husband.
