One day, for no clear reason, a man leaves his house, but without any destination in mind. All he knows is that he can't stay in this house he used to call a home, and he can no longer look at this woman he used to call his wife. Following this unexpected departure, and throughout his walks in the empty streets of New York, this man reflects on his childhood, the people he's encountered in the past, and all the incidents in his life that have brought him to where he is now.
