Letters from the Fields

She left the small town with plans bigger than the horizon.
He stayed behind with hands full of soil and a heart that never stopped waiting.
Years later, when a family emergency brings her back, she finds a stack of weathered letters tucked in the old barn, all addressed to her, all written in his hand, but never sent.
