Harleen Quinzel the 2nd, and I am the product of a reformed psycho and an abusive jerkwad. Dad died from overdosing on Titan Formula but everyone knows that. What they didn't know was me. I was born in between the many times my mother "Harley Quinn" was locked up in Arkham Asylum and before stupid Arkham City. Cripes what a mess that was. I was only a few years old, like maybe four around the time the Mayor made Arkham City. Mom had been beaten to a pulp by my father again so they tossed her in the clink and somehow I had survived. Mom stayed in Arkham for a long time of her own free will to make sure she carried me safely. Well until she heard a guard mention that as soon as I was born the asylum would take me away from her. Mom left that night. Seven months along and still ninja like enough to get out and not be caught. In fact mom says they didn't find out till breakfast next morning. Guess they relaxed security on the pregnant psycho.. But anyway that's how I came to be. Let me tell you what came next.

This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them. Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. Cathleen was adopted by Bruce Wayne the following week, now, it's time for her new life to begin. I own story line. Don't be haters!
