His eyes darken, a dangerous glint appearing in them.
"Your father's debt....that was just an excuse. An opportunity."
He leans forward, his voice dropping lower as my breath quickens.
"You wanna know the real reason I'm doing this?"
"Because you're the first person in a long time who didn't cower in my presence. You looked at me like I was still just a thug, not the most feared man in Seoul."
He pauses, his expression hardening as I looked in his eyes.
"And you know what really pissed me off?"
He grasps my shoulder suddenly, making me flinch. His touch firm but not painful.
"You stood your ground. You looked me in the eyes and told me off. That mouth of yours....it drove me crazy."
His eyes trail to my lips.
Time skips:-
"I hate you!! I hate you so much!!!" I yelled on his face.
Jungkook's expression hardens at my words, but somethings underneath shows a deeper emotion as he spoke.
"I've heard that before."
He drops his handkerchief and backs away a step.
"But you know what's funny? They're all dead now."
His words send a wave of terror in my body.
