Jasper, Roman, and Dani flee to the coven owned by Roman's maternal grandfather in Italy. Giovanni assures them of safety within his province, despite knowing how unstable the enemy is. An accusation has been levelled against Dani, the source proving to be more problematic now that things have changed.
The trio knows it's not the end of their issues. They think that Lewis is the least of their problems until they start digging into the past. Things aren't adding up, and Jasper is adamant that Lewis has created a false view of the inner workings of the coven to fool them.
As they prepare for the impending future, the trio slips up. One fateful day will alter their world, creating uncertainty and risks exposing Dani to the past she was trying to hide from. It will put Jasper on a path that will lead him back to his past and force him to admit the secret he's kept for a long time.
