But when her peers at her school start talking about romance and the upcoming dance, she begins to want to be more to the skilled young proxy than just a client of her job. While fighting Ethereals and various thugs has never bothered her, Ellen finds out ordinary life away from the battlefield can be just as exhaustive and terrifying if not more so. Can Ellen find the courage in her heart to make Wise hers? Or will this relationship end up sleeping with the fishes?
