When a sudden downpour traps me in a remote provincial inn, the last thing I expect is to share a creaky, haunted "couple's bed" with a sarcastic stranger named Rafi. But what starts as an awkward night quickly spirals into something stranger-whispers in the dark, shadows that move, and a canopy that seems to breathe.
Back home, the nightmare doesn't end. My bed feels wrong, my reflection isn't mine, and Rafi... might not even exist.
They say you can always check out of an inn.
