Monsters had been plaging this world for a very long time. In most cases, the kingdoms knights are able to manage their population and prevent disasters.
But not always...
This is the story of a boy whose village was massacred by monsters, he is the only the survivor. At the young age of 3, it looks like his life is coming to an end. That is until a zora family finds him and take him in. This is the story of Link a hylian raised by and among zora
(This story is an AU without the calamity or the story surrounding it aka no champions, not master sword, no sealing power, it is a slice of life and in addition zora have similar life span to hylians here.)

Blighted Memories
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. "Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Botw Reimagined: The Past
After thinking about it for a while, I want to share a sort of reimagining of the legend of Zelda breath of the wild (skip bellow the following text to the actual story if you just want what the story is about) I have loved botw since it came out, however, I, like a lot of you probably, thought there wasn't enough to the story, and I guess the community has influenced my Invision of how botw should have gone, but I'm getting ahead of myself I want to make this reimagining somewhat realistic in terms of how characters react, but don't expect that much from me in those terms (how I want the story to go) this will mainly focus on building Link's past and actually giving him his character, but I will also somewhat change the other main characters, but I will make them as close to their in-game personality as possible (the actual story) Link has always been a prodigy in combat ever since he was a child. His father is a newly retired member of the royal guard and lives with his family in a ranch (if you know the location, you know what I'm talking about) and was the first to realize Link's skills. His skills were so good, that he was able to beat most adults, albeit with a suitable weapon and the adult isn't a soldier. his skills had gained him a reputation whenever they traveled. What kind of adventures will be in store for Link later in life? This is my first story that I'm willing to put out, I plan on getting this story and the botw changed story out, but I'll have to consider if I want to continue after that point P.S. I can understand that the first chapter may not be that interesting, so if you don't, then skip to at the very least character 4 or 5 as that's when the story picks up the pace. But if you stick through the other chapters, I heavily appreciate that as well. All rights to any named character obviously belongs to NintendoConcluida
BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. Spoiler alert for this entire book! If you have not completed the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this story will reveal the entire storyline of this game. The Calamity was defeated, but it seemingly costed the Hero's life, whose corpse mysteriously disappeared, much to the Zora Champion's grief. When she and the other Champions were summoned by the princess Zelda, a Moblin managed to capture her and take to the Faron Regions, where she is soon rescued by a unknown, strangely armoured entity... This story in based in the timeline of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. All the characters belong to Nintendo, except for Scarba, who is a original character of mine.
