Life takes a strange turn for Delphene and her family when a virus shakes America to the point of cannibalism. For most, life is now what you make of it; if you survive that far anyways. 

     Hiding away while the world ravages its inhabitants feels grim in solitude. With a thirst for awareness and objective in this new world Delphene has choices to make. Staying hidden and following orders, or leave all comfort and see what ventures her way. 

     After all there isn't much comfort when the dead rules the top soil. Are comfort and orders more important than survival? Or are answers and discovery with the outside her main priority? Follow Delphene and her journey along a desolate world that undoubtedly provokes questions and common sense. Some say ignorance is bliss. But more accurately knowledge is power.

One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. The scientists on the ship can't directly show their presence because of the rules and decide to turn some crew members into gods so they can collect gold. But first, the scientists decide to organize a rebellion on the planet. The godlike have to face many difficulties.
