"Tell me why you did it." I demanded, not breaking eye contact with him for a single second.

He stood up, towering over me, his eyes stormy.

"I did it because I would gladly destroy anyone who hurts you. I would kill everyone if it meant you got to take an extra breath of air. I would obliterate the moon and the sun if it made your skin look bad." He stepped closer, "I would haunt down every single one of your nightmares if I could because that Gardena is how much you mean to me."

I gulped, knowing he meant every last word. "So, why is it that you continue to disobey me, hm?"

"Disobey?" The words escaped my mouth without thinking.

"Your panties. Why are they still on?"
