A supernatural being, feared by many, is out roaming the earth once again. This being is a feared one, originating from the black forest in Germany. The Slenderman. He had traveled all over the world by mysterious means, searching for the object that was promised him in a deal for his soul. He was in search of something that he had gotten ripped from him long ago, finding himself in a lost town among the countless .
What he finds instead? A girl with no friends and an obnoxious asshole attitude. He doesn't find any interest in her. She is literally just a roadblock in his plans, but because he doesn't have any further plans, which means she doesn't exactly block anything really. So he puts up with her. He immediately (and unknowingly) pulls Gracelyn Whitman, a girl with little to no knowledge of the Underworld, into something that is bigger than the both of them. Both are oblivious until mysterious happenings keep occurring without Slenderman's involvement. And while all of this taking place around Gracelyn, she is still in the dark about everything.
With Gracelyn knowing nothing of his other life, she accidentally gets much more involved in the danger than she should have. Soon they both travel to a place, for recreational reasons. Once they arrive they are unable to return, without a price.
Both pay their own, and both plan on making others pay for them.
