Cinnamon Girl follows Maverick McCall, a sarcastic, street-smart Pittsburgh kid with a rebellious streak, and his best friend since age three, Alana Grand- confident, grounded, and the only person who can match his banter. The summer after graduation, the two prepare to leave their hometown for New York City, where Maverick will start at Tisch and Alana will begin her own college journey.
