Born to a Kryptonian father and a Viltrumite mother, Callan Kent was destined to be a weapon. Raised on Earth by the Kents, he grew into the symbol of hope known as Superman until the truth of his heritage shattered his world. Choosing defiance over destiny, he left Earth behind, vanishing into the stars for three long years.

Now, forged in the fires of Warworld and hardened by battles across distant worlds, Callan returns to a planet on the brink. Old friends see a stranger. Enemies see a threat. And the Viltrum Empire sees their unfinished conquest.

In a universe where loyalty is tested and power alone can't save the day, Callan must decide what kind of Superman he will be... if he can survive long enough to make that choice.

[Male Reader x Marvel] Being a hero is a hard task, and not because of tough enemies, or the threat of death, but because it was about making a choice, a choice to take responsibility into one's own hands, and strike out for what they believed was right. In a world filled with far-out aliens and hellish demons, killer androids and super-powered maniacs, being a hero was even harder. From a young age, [Y/N] always had a keen understanding about what he believed was right and wrong, that people who hurt others for money and fame or out of sadistic enjoyment deserved punishment, that justice was necessary, and without it everything would fall apart. The death of his mother by the hands of some rogue gunman only solidified his resentment towards those he considered to be the scum of society. He had always wanted to be a hero, like Captain America or the Human Torch, from the comics he had always read, front to back. Men who held the power to change the world for the better, and weren't afraid to do what was right, despite what obstacles laid ahead of him. However, unlike his heroes, he held no superpower to help him on his path, no super-strength or speed, hardened skin or flaming skull, setting the rookie vigilante up for a bitter struggle. And yet, on a day that would have appeared just like any other, upon the seemingly unimportant bite from a strange, discoloured spider. On a less-than-interesting field trip, he would be granted the powers needed to fight for his convictions. the ability to now truly make those who hurt others pay for their actions. He made a promise as a child that he would make the world a better place, a world where people like his mother wouldn't have had to die, and he intended to follow through on that promise to the very end...

In the final moment before her destruction, Wanda Maximoff " the Scarlet Witch " is pulled into a void beyond time or form. Lost in the abyss of her guilt, a mysterious light touches her... and brings her back. Not to her world, but to another. One where magic is different. Where redemption might take shape: the world of Harry Potter. When a luminous figure " a doe " shows her the memories of a boy abandoned and mistreated by his relatives, Wanda understands her new purpose: to protect Lily Potter's son. Though she doesn't know why she was chosen, she accepts the deal. In exchange for a chance at redemption, she will care for little Harry. But Wanda is no ordinary witch. And this world is not ready for her. From the very first moment on Privet Drive, the Dursleys will feel that something has changed. With power, resolve, and growing compassion, Wanda will face a new destiny. Because this time... no one will touch the boy without facing her. After all, who better to protect the Boy Who Lived... than the Scarlet Witch herself? Author's Disclaimer: This story is loosely inspired by the initial premise of Strange Potter, a work I greatly admire and that served as a creative spark for developing this project. Although the plot, character development, and events are entirely original and distinct, I believe it's only fair to acknowledge that initial influence. Likewise, this is a non-profit fanfic that blends elements from the Marvel and Harry Potter universes, whose rights belong to their respective creators and owners (Marvel/Disney and J.K. Rowling). This work is made with respect and with the intention of paying tribute to these worlds that so many of us have enjoyed.
