Zoey Keenan and Jesiah Collins
Zarik Alexander, son of King Arthur and Queen Muriel of Draconis, is royalty-but from the lowest status race: Humans. In Draconis, society is divided by race, with Humans at the bottom, followed by Dwarfs, Beastmen, and Elves at the top. Because of this, Zarik is often disrespected by other races.
After defeating an Elf in a fight, Zarik is forced to transfer from a public school to Nova Force Academy (NFA), a private school focused on student abilities and teamwork. Despite its ideals, racial prejudice remains strong.
At NFA, Zarik is assigned to room with Zipporah, an aloof Elf who looks down on those beneath her status. Zarik realizes this as soon as they meet, which causes the two to hate each other with vigor. Throughout their time of living with each other and partnering during class, Zipporah realizes Zarik isn't all that bad, and develops a small crush.
She forces herself to push her feelings down, knowing no one would accept this behavior of her as an Elf. She realizes, however, that her choices between being cold and distant towards other races wasn't beneficial for anybody-not even herself.
As time goes on, Magnus, a Beastman, develops a crush on Zipporah, and Bliss, a Dwarf, develops a crush on Zarik. What will happen throughout all of them? Will they defy the laws of race?
