After years in Tartarus following the fall of Shigaraki and All For One, former assassin Lady Nagant is released under strict conditions to aid a hero society still struggling to stand-placed directly under the supervision of the number one hero, Izuku Midoriya.

The world she returns to is thinner, quieter, and far more uncertain than the one she left behind. As Kaina navigates distrust, buried memories, and a role she never expected to reclaim, she begins to notice the weight Izuku carries almost entirely alone. An unexpected, quiet connection forms-built on caution, necessity, and the faintest spark of something more.

Just as she starts to settle into this fragile freedom, a terrible tragedy strikes. In his grief, Deku steps away from the hero scene entirely, while Lady Nagant is left holding a position someone like her was never meant to occupy: mentorship and leadership. Tasked with shaping a volatile group of recruits scraped together by the newly reformed Commission, she must forge an iron blade from plastic-all while grappling with feelings that should have never existed and a future neither of them planned to survive.
