Kiera has been to hell and no doubt about that. Her parents? Gone. Her life? A mess. Her job? A complete grind. All this is brought to a halt as she becomes recruited into a secret task force after an officer working in the Department of Homeland Security is killed broadly during the day. She has formed a group with four others including Mark Meachum, another acquaintance in her LAPD work. She had a massive crush on him, for years she had assumed that he was way too good to be with her. Or, possibly... possibly he is not?

The Detective * SUMMARY * The Havoc at the LAPD increases when an officer got himself in the middle of a big drugs gang's radar. Detective Rivera from San Diego flies in to hopefully bring an end to it. Being back in LA after years of working there brings back memories and people It's a situation which isn't foreseeable; things happen on patrol, people are being searched, bosses are being talked to.
