Every year since she can remember, Cadence and her family take summer vacations in the house at Lake Tahoe, California. This summer was no different as she finished up her junior year, they packed up and headed off. She didn't expect anything new this time around, except the house down the street from the house they stayed in was no longer empty. It's now occupied by the Hensley's. A loving family with a daughter and two sons. Finally someone to pass the summer with, Cadence was very excited to not have to spend another summer with her nose in her books seeing as she is an only child, she never had anyone to help entertain her while her parents would go on their dates or what not.
Meeting the Henley's for the first time was something she would never forget. The wind blown blonde hair and blue eyes they all seemed to have inherited from their dad, all except Sam. He had the deepest green eyes. All unfairly athletic, she was very happy to tag along, seeing where this summer will lead her, as feelings she's never felt before began to surface.
