Shades of happiness

Eleanor White is an undergraduate student in Fine Art and Design, now in her second year. Why fine art, you may ask? Because it's her way of expressing how she sees the world, how she admires it, and, most importantly, how she uses her out-of-the-box thinking - the very thing she used to be so ashamed of - in the work she loves.

But there are feelings she's never experienced before. Love, for example. She's read so much about it in books, seen it in plays and paintings - the blazing passion, the burning eyes, the shaking voices... She desperately wants to feel it all for herself - to make her body burn with the desire to touch someone who feels the same way.

The lack of this experience affects her art. She can't quite capture that desired emotion. What does her love smell like? What does it sound like? What color is the person she could love?

In an attempt to inspire herself, she forces herself to fall in love with a man who is completely distant from her - and doesn't even notice how the heart of another man, who has always been there to protect her from misfortune, has long been burning with love for her.
