Gawin was the campus flirt. Winking at strangers, teasing professors, and holding court with his loud, stylish crew. Joss was the quiet one in the back row, surrounded by books and a small study group... though his eyes often drifted toward Gawin. His friends teased, "He's way out of your league."
Then one day, during a class project, Joss fired back a witty comeback that caught Gawin off guard. Nerds weren't supposed to talk back like that.
From then on, Gawin made sure Joss couldn't avoid him "accidental" seat choices, forced conversations, a grin paired with, "You know you're hot for a nerd, right?"
And just like that, the game began.
