one night on a rainy night the mellark family where enjoy a relaxing dinner when the door bell ring Peeta goes an answer the door to find a girl five who looks like rue with tears in her eyes saying I can't find my Mommy will you help me a note on her shirt Peeta pick her up and take her inside calling Katniss she walks in and says Rue the moment she she her she take the note off that says "Please take care of my daughter her name is Rosemary she is five I can't take care of her anymore because I've been hunted by capital I'm sure Rue would want you take care of her sign Rue third little sister

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. Maybe even more than I loved my own father. I felt bad, that my own dad couldn't compare to Katniss'. He loved me too though. Loved me like his own. The day he died was the first in a long line of times I have ever seen Katniss cry. She never cried before then but she cried a lot after. Katniss' mother was suppose to get a job after his passing, she didn't. They were starving, dying. I decided to help. After school I would drag Katniss into the woods by her feet. We'd never gone in there without her father. It seemed like a scarier place without him. After some time it wasn't so scary. I don't know what made me volunteer for Katniss. When I heard her name echo throughout the crowd my heart stopped. It wasn't my name, but it was my best friends. There was no way she could survive in there. She had a family, a sister to take care of. I thought my parents could live without me. The name Effie called next was the only name I prayed and prayed I would never hear her say. Peeta Mellark.
