This story is based on episode 2x11 of The Rookie, when rookie officer Lucy Chen gets abducted and buried but with a horrible twist.
Tim Bradford still manages to find her. Just not in time. By the time she was found and taken out of the barrel, she had already been without oxygen for too long and even after multiple attempts and last resorts, the team was not able to revive her.
As you read- you will go through the POV's of many different characters and how they deal with the loss of one of their officers.
( SOME DETAILS MIGHT BE A LITTLE OFF AND I DID NOT INCLUDE THE ARMSTRONG PLOT OR CALEB DYING. )
