"When?" I ask, my voice trembling under his sharp gaze.

"The first day of year 10. You had your hair out, with a cute little headband on. You also wore a pink hoodie with that short ass white skirt." He spoke, looking up at the ceiling as if he's trying to remember exactly what I wore on the first day of school. How could he have possibly remembered what I wore on the first day of school? It's been a year!

"How did you?-" I begin to question but he cuts me off.

"Who wouldn't remember a pretty thing like you? You're beautiful."
